· 1 Fryer chicken (about 2 lbs.), cut up in small pieces
· 2 cloves garlic, minced
· 1 cup onions, chopped fine
· 1/4 cup vinegar
· 1/2 Tsp. Salt
· 1/4 Tsp. Black pepper
· 3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
· 1/2 cup water
· 1/4 Tsp Ajinomoto (optional)
Place chicken, garlic, onions, vinegar, salt and pepper
into a bowl and mix well. Drain and reserve liquid.
Cook chicken on high heat for 3 minutes. Reduce heat.
Add soy sauce, water, ajinomoto, and the reserved liquid. Cover.
Simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with steamed rice.
If you like vegetables, you may add
fresh green or string beans or cabbage.
